The new Gold Standard for streaming media devices. I was an early adopter of the Amazon FIre and loved it. Sorry, Jeff – the Nvidia Shield Pro smokes it.

Honest Review. I just bought this device, I’ve use it for a couple of hours, mostly for Netflix, and some gaming. I joined the Nvidia game subscription, you need a robust internet connection for playing online. You can buy games as well. It’s been a breeze using the Shield Pro. It’s nice not to worry about storage. I’m going to attach a 1TB portable drive, it’s gonna fun.

Clyde McShizzle says:

Yes, the Shield TV works as a retro gaming console Just a quick review from the perspective of someone who bought this to serve primarily as a platform for emulating retro games. First I want to say that I was expecting to have to return the Shield TV after placing my order, since the reviews seem real spotty here on Amazon. There are a number of people complaining about build quality, buggy software, non-functioning remotes, and other issues. I, for one, have had none of these issues.
