Improved KD Links 720 The first thing that you need to know about me is that I am a geezer and this will be a geezer review. My fingers are fat and clumsy. My hands tremble and my eyesight with glasses is just acceptable. Unlike those of you born after 1990, I have no intuitive understanding of Android devices and Kodi is a mystery to me. I watch very old movies.

Be prepared to spend lots of time setting this up. Overall, this is a mixed bag. It does some things really well and others are a struggle. I also own a HD720 – there are some things this box does better and it is disappointing that the A300 does not at least do the same. If you are not using the box to playback files from a server or you just want to run Android Apps, you will probably be happy with it, although I found a few Apps that would not load. The android platform in the A300 is now 2 versions back and that may be the culprit. If…

Media Player Deluxe My purpose for purchasing this box was to use it as a local media player so I can’t comment on it as a streaming device. I use a Roku 2 (2015) as a streaming device, it’s cheap, lightning fast and pretty much has every streaming service available. I even used it as a local media player using a 2tb external drive with the media player app. It just didn’t give enough information about the file being played. I had the KDLinks HD720 for several years. which did pretty good as a local media player…
